What it is and who issues it
The Malta Business Register (MBR) issues the certificate for a company on its register. It is an official record of who currently acts as a director, dated as at the day it is issued.
What it includes
- The company name and registration number
- The current director or directors of the company
- The date of issue
When you might need one
Banks, counterparties and foreign authorities often ask for proof of who can sign for a company. A directors certificate shows who those directors are at the date of issue.
