Who we are
White is an independent service that orders Malta Business Register documents on behalf of our clients. We are the controller of the personal data described on this page. Questions about your data can be sent through our contact page at /contact.
What data we collect
When you place an order we collect your name or company name, email address, billing address and country, VAT number if you provide one, the company name and registration number you ask us to order documents for, and, for courier delivery, your delivery address.
Payments are taken by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
If you use our live chat, the messages you send and basic technical details about your visit (such as your browser and the page you are viewing) are handled by Tawk.to.
Why we use your data
We use your data to take and fulfil your order, send you the documents and order updates, issue invoices, and meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
Who we share it with
We share the information needed for each order with the Malta Business Register to obtain the documents, with the courier when you choose courier delivery, and with Stripe to take payment. These organisations act on our instructions or as independent controllers for their own services. Some of them may be located outside the European Economic Area; where this happens we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
Live chat (Tawk.to)
Our live chat is provided by Tawk.to. When you start a chat, the messages you send and technical information about your visit are processed by Tawk.to on our behalf, under its own privacy policy. We use these conversations only to answer your questions about our service.
How long we keep it
We keep order and invoice records for as long as needed to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations. When that period ends we delete or anonymise the data.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access your personal data, have it corrected, ask for it to be erased where the law allows, restrict or object to its use, and ask for a copy in a portable format. You can also complain to the Office of the Information and Data Protection Commissioner in Malta or to the authority in your country of residence.
To exercise these rights, use our contact page at /contact.
Security
We limit access to personal data to people who need it for an order and protect it with technical and organisational measures.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
